Kamala Harris is one of the most powerful women in the world. Living an exceptionally busy life, can the Vice President of the United State ever have time to work out?

The response is hell yeah. She works out every single day.

When talking to Barak Obama for a twitter interview, Kamala said that working out is the best way to start the day, “I work out every morning, no matter how much sleep I’ve had. It’s just the best way to start the day.”

During the lockdown days, when Harris couldn’t find hand weights to use in her workouts, because they were sold out, “I had a litre of water bottles that I packed, of course, with water.”

When talking to The Cut, Harris said on the weekends, sometimes she enjoys going to the bike class. “Usually, it’s half an hour on the elliptical or the SoulCycle and the SoulSurvivor [longer SoulCycle class] on the weekend.

What about food? What’s her diet like?

Well, fifty-year-old Harris loves cooking and using this skill as a way to destress.

For breakfast, she generally eat Raisin Bran in almond milk and drinks tea with honey and lemon.

While talking to Glamour magazine, Harris spoke in detail about her method for turning roast chicken into three meals. We love her for being as frugal as us.


“I put it in at 325°F for a couple of hours, I make a sauce out of the drippings, and we eat that for dinner. Then whatever we didn’t eat, I’ll carve that and put that aside because I’ll make chicken salad with that. So that’s two meals. Then I take the carcass and put that in a pot of water with some carrots and celery and bay leaf and some peppercorns. If I’ve got some parsley, I’ll put that in there. And then I cook that for like four hours on the stove. I strain it, and it makes the most amazing chicken broth. I use that in soup, like a split pea, which is just delicious. And that’s three meals.”
